🦝 Trash Pandas — Privacy Policy

Thank you for using Trash Pandas ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how. In short: the App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with us, any server, or any third party.

What the App does with data

Information stored on your device only

The App stores the following information on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults storage so that your game progress survives between launches:

• Your name — as entered during registration
• Your grade level — as selected during registration
• Your selfie photo — used as your in-game raccoon's face
• Game progress — current level, total score, high score, daily streak
• Session timing — how many seconds you've played today (for the 30-minute daily cap)

None of this information ever leaves your device. It is not sent to us, to Apple, or to any third party.

Information the App does NOT collect

• No user accounts, emails, or passwords
• No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking
• No advertising, ad identifiers, or ad networks
• No location data
• No contact list, calendar, or health data
• No crash reports beyond Apple's standard opt-in diagnostic reporting
• No in-app purchases or financial data

Camera and photo library access

The App requests access to:

• Camera — only when you tap "Take Selfie" or "Retake Selfie". The resulting photo is cropped and saved on your device only.
• Photo Library — only when you tap "Photo Library" to pick a photo. The selected photo is read once, cropped, and saved on your device only.

The App never uploads, shares, or transmits your photos. You can delete your photo at any time via "Change Profile" or "Retake Selfie".

Sharing

If you tap "Share My Raccoon", the App generates an image locally on your device and hands it to Apple's standard iOS share sheet. You choose where to send it (Instagram, TikTok, Messages, Mail, Photos, AirDrop, etc.). Anything you share after that point is governed by the destination app's privacy policy, not ours.

Children's privacy

The App is suitable for children. Because the App does not collect personal information, does not allow user-to-user communication, does not contain third-party advertising, and does not support publicly-shared user-generated content, it complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations. No parental consent is required because no personal data is collected or transmitted.

Deletion and data control

You are in full control of your data. To remove everything:

• Tap "Change Profile" on the home screen — clears your name, grade, selfie, progress, scores, and the daily time ledger
• Or delete the app from your device — iOS removes all associated stored data

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Since we don't have your contact information, we won't be able to notify you directly — please check this page whenever a new version of the App is released.
