Thank you for playing Chain Letter: Word Duel, “the App”. In short, the App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with us, any server, or any third party.
Chain Letter saves your best score to the App’s own private storage on your device. This value never leaves your device and is not readable by other apps. If you delete the App, it is deleted with it.
Duels work by exchanging a short text code between players. The code contains only game data: the board’s random seed and a timeline of scores and attacks from the round it came from. It contains no names, identifiers, or personal information of any kind. The App never sends these codes anywhere itself; you share them yourself through whatever messaging app you choose, under that app’s own privacy policy.
The App makes no network requests at all. It uses no advertising identifiers or ad networks, no analytics or telemetry of any kind, and no crash-reporting SDKs. It does not access your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera. It reads your clipboard only when you tap the paste button to enter a challenge code. No data is sold or shared with third parties, because none is collected.
The App is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
